Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening.

I could play this EP for hours endlessly, a mathrock classic for a reason. it's pretty and wonderfully expressive, the horns add so much. I wish there was more
